TikTok has done it again, with pants flying off the racks and big hoop earrings going viral. This time, I used Target’s $8 ARC After-Brushing Teeth Whitening Booster (as if we needed another reason to shop there).
But you’ll have to run, not walk, to acquire it because, according to TikTokers, “this stuff sells out all the time,” and some stores even have a waitlist. Don’t worry, even if it’s out of stock at your local Target, you can still order it online.

As we all know, there will always be TikTok trends that come and go. But having a bright, white, and lovely smile is always a classic. Simply searching #teethwhitening yields over 1.1 billion views, with people exhibiting their “how- to’s” on how to attain those pearly whites.
However, amid the dozens of videos, the ARC After-Brushing Teeth Whitening Booster seemed to stand out, with the TikTok that helped it go viral garnering 1.1 million views (with “no filter”).
So, what is it about this product that entices people to buy it in large quantities? It all boils down to this: it’s difficult to find a product that ticks all of the boxes when looking for a superb teeth whitener.
You want something that is effective, has immediate effects, is gentle on your teeth, and is affordable. However, this one appears to have passed the test, with one TikToker describing it as one of the Target things that “changed their life.”
All you have to do is brush your teeth with the gel for one minute after using your regular toothpaste. And, as with most things, consistency is crucial; one TikToker noticed brighter teeth after three days of use.
However, one Target customer claimed to have “seen effects on the first use,” while another said it is “truly the best teeth whitening product at this price point, 10/10.”

This gel has been shown to be non-sensitive on consumers’ teeth, with one TikToker stating, “I finally found this product that does not make my gums sensitive, it doesn’t hurt when the wind touches my teeth, [and] it doesn’t hurt when I drink something cold.” Other TikTok users appreciate how affordable the option is, with one TikToker calling it an affordable alternative to Crest whitening.
If using a gel booster isn’t your thing, the firm also provides TikTok-popular options like the ARC Precision Applicator Teeth Whitening Pen, which costs $20, and the ARC Blue Light Teeth Whitening Kit with Blue Light, which costs $45.
Whichever product you choose, acquire it while you can because you never know when it will be out of stock.
